First Meeting Tonight!

BU AIAA will be in PHO 210 tonight at 8pm for our first meeting. Join us, BU Rocket Team, SEDS, and the new UAV team for our first informational meeting. Hopefully there will be cookies and milk at the meeting.

Thanks to all of you for making this year one of the most active and succesful years for the BU chapter of the AIAA. I would also like to extend my greatest thanks to our out-going president Nick. What he has done this year will resonate for years later in the club.

Thursday ICE CREAM!

We will be doing our annual liquid nitrogen ice cream gathering on Thursday from 12pm-1pm. Hopefully you’ll be ablle to stop in a have some after lunch. We will be making the ice cream in the wind tunnel lab (110 cummington st). This will be our last meeting of the year.

Just a reminder that the GE plant tour is tomorrow at 10:15 am at the GE visitor center. To get there I would recommend taking a car, but if you cant’ see Jonah’s attachment to his email. See you there,

Meeting this week

This week will again be taking sign ups for the GE Tour on Friday April 24th. As a reminder, you MUST be a US citizen to go on this tour as per GE policy. Also at the meeting we will be talking about current aerospace news. Also an announcement will be made about an upcoming speaker (from NASA JPL).

This week we will be having a general meeting to talk about aerospace stuff. Also, if anyone wants to go to GE for the tour (Friday April 24th) you should come to the meeting and get your name on the list. I will not be at the meeting as I will be in Washington DC for the hockey games.

GE Tour

This week (4/2) we will be having our weekly AIAA meeting to discuss the upcoming GE Plant tour in Lynn, MA. If you would like to go on the tour, you should plan on attending this meeting. If you can not make the meeting please feel free to contact me or one of the e-board members. The tour is going to take place on Friday April 24th.

I encourage everyone to attend Industry Night from 7pm-9pm at the GSU (being put on by the Career Development Office). Seeing as this falls during our regular scheduled meeting time, there will be no AIAA meeting this week so all can attend the Industry Night.
