Thanks to everyone who came to the MIT social last Saturday. As always, a good time was had by all, especially those of us who got to watch Fahmil and Tiago dance the sexiest paso I’ve ever seen. The next social is on June 18th. As it gets closer, keep an eye out for dinner plans. The event has been posted on the calendar which you can access via the Events tab above.

Hello dancers!

The enemy of ribbon winning is taking the summer off! Use this time to perfect some of your skills or learn some new ones.

A bunch of us will be around this summer. According to university rules, we can’t hold lessons or practices as a team. Instead, we’ll hold practices together as friends in whatever space we can find. If you’re interested, contact Haley or Louisa.

If you’re more in the mood for real lessons, MIT is holding some summer sessions for only $3 each. Click here for more information. Otherwise you can always stop by Extreme Dancesport in Cambridge to visit Helle Rusholt-Yi or head to Studio 665 in Woburn to visit Mark Nocera and Amanda Clark.

Montage Update!

Mark your calendars people! Montage is 2.5 weeks away and we’re in full “swing” to use a terrible pun. The beginner number as many of you may have already guessed will indeed be a super sassy swing done to this summer’s hit song “Cooler than me” by Mike Posner. We will also be performing a Mambo to Robin Thicke’s “Everything I can’t have“, and a samba done to “Mas que nada” by Sergio Mendes ft. the Black Eyed Peas.

It’s sure to be a great show! we’ve got some great talent lined up from all over the BU community! This year’s show features
