The Best Spots In & Around Boston!

Moving to a new area of Boston tomorrow? Or, just interested in trying new restaurants? Boston has a ton to offer, and trying to find cool new places can be overwhelming. To help, BGSA has compiled a crowd-sourced list of biology and MCBB graduate students’ favorite places in Boston and the surrounding areas. Thank you to all of you who filled out our recommendation form, we got so many awesome responses!

See what your peers recommended by checking out our Google Map below. Maybe you’ll find a new favorite restaurant, or get inspired for a weekend getaway!

We’ve also started compiling a list of places in Boston that offer student discounts. Check out the list below, and feel free to send us any suggestions that we may have missed!

Happy exploring 🙂

Start planning those costumes, and bring the little ones for a children's costume contest at 4:30 PM followed by lab and adult costume contests later in the evening.

Happy Halloween, and see you all there!

The Biologically Beautiful Photo Contest

BGSA PhotoContest Poster 2018

We've all had that moment at the microscope or in the field when we snap the perfect image that is useless for the manuscript but perfect for a photo contest.  Submit your original work to BGSA's Biologically Beautiful Photo Contest and let it see the light of day!

Marine life, mammals, molecules, and mountains are all welcome.

Submit by 11/1/18 and then get ready to vote!
