When did you start fencing? My freshman year at BU

Why did you start fencing? I’ve done a lot of theater but I never got to learn stage combat, something I’ve always wanted to do. Swords are cool! Plus, one of my high school teachers went to BU and was also a fencer. I plan to return and challenge him to a duel over winter break.

What is one of your favorite fencing memories? Well this isn’t exactly the fencing part of fencing practice, but I enjoy playing Glove Game.

What was a proud moment in your BU fencing career? I didn’t finish last at my first Big One! (I finished third-to-last! :D)

Off the fencing strip: I am really good at quoting movies and doing accents. I can do a very accurate Gollum impression. If you want to make me happy, give me avocado, cookies, and/or talk to me about British things and/or film.
