SCOTUS upholds “don’t ask”

1038828_u_s__supreme_court_2The Supreme Court has upheld the “don’t ask, don’t tell” Pentagon policy barring gays and lesbians from openly serving in the military, deciding not to hear an appeal of a lower court’s rejection of a challenge to the 1993 law.  School of Law Professor Robert Volk, an authority on gay-rights law, can discuss the legal ramifications.
