Professor Balser to Speak on Gender Equality

The Women’s Studies Program is hosting a panel discussion led by Professor Diane Balser today beginning at 4:30 PM in the Law Barristers Hall. The event will address the issue of gender inequality in Law Professor Linda McClain’s co-edited book, “Gender Equality: Dimensions of Women’s Equal Citizenship”. Distinguished scholars in law, political science, and women’s studies, the panelists will investigate the many dimensions of women’s equal citizenship, including constitutional citizenship, democratic citizenship, social citizenship, sexual and reproductive citizenship, and global citizenship. Erin Judge brings comedy act to BU

The Women’s Studies Program and Genderfest present up and coming comedian Erin Judge today beginning at 4:30 PM in the Kenmore Classroom Building, Room 101. Judge, who recently appeared on the third season of Comedy Central’s Live at Gotham, pokes fun at sexuality, politics and pop culture. In addition to telling jokes, acting in sketches, performing characters, and producing shows, Erin is also an as award-winning writer. The event is free and open to the public.
