<p>College of Communication Professor <a title="Peter Morrissey" href="http://www.bu.edu/com/about/faculty/peter_morrissey.shtml" target="_blank">Peter Morrissey</a>, a veteran reputation-management expert whose clients included Johnson &amp; Johnson during the Tylenol case, says Craigslist managing its reputation in light of the &#8220;Craigslist murder&#8221; case is tricky.</p>
<p><em>&#8220;As far as Craigslist&#8217;s reputation goes, they need to be seen as being on the side of the law.  They are the media in this case and in some ways the enabler.  They need to show that they care and they need to try to take actions to protect the public from themselves if need be.  This is the gray area of media freedom &#8212; who will guard the guards?&#8221;</em></p>
