Dr. Limentani will give us a 15 minute presentation about her career path, career opportunities in industry, and advice along those lines. Giselle Limentani obtained her PhD in chemistry from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst with a focus on gas and liquid chromatography.  She then worked at Ciba-Geigy Corporation in the Physical and Analytical Chemistry department for 5 years before moving to GlaxoSmithKline.  She has worked at GlaxoSmithKline for the last 23 years and is currently a Director in the Product Development department in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina.  She has led the analytical and formulation development of numerous new compounds and has played a key role in the development and approval of seven marketed products.
