AUDITIONS! WORLD PEACE!

Hey babies,

Are you on fire? If you are, please disregard the following. If not, we strongly recommend you bring your fire-retardant self to AUDITIONS for our quaint, misbegotten sketch-improv-video comedy group, held this coming Saturday–the 22nd–in CAS room 324 at 11AM. Save the date! If you get called back, pencil in the same time and place for the very next day (the 23rd) for a second, more intimate round. Does that sound sensual? We hope so.

Upcoming Shows

The other night, Madonna’s halftime performance reminded us that anyone can stay in the limelight if they’re obnoxious enough. Taking a note from that, we’d like to announce two performances coming up in February! Not only will we be helping out big causes (world hunger, athletic trainers), but we’ll also perform some _-*new, original*-_ stuff for Funderdome II. So if the laughs won’t bring you to see us–which they should–the causes will.

From the Ashes

It seems like an eternity since someone updated this blog. Checking the timestamp of the last post, that’s a gross overestimation. Regardless: a new semester has begun, which means we’ve shaken off the comedy rust from the holidays and are already drafting new material for our shows. Check the Events page for more information.

Also, keep checking this blog for information about the looming FUNDERDOME II. On Saturday, March 3rd, The Callbacks will host a contingent of Boston-area sketch comedy groups that will compete in a fight to the death through extreme comedy. However, if you’re jonesin’ for us right now, take a look at our Youtube channel to see last semester’s Fall show in full.

And here’s a cooking tip: when you’re rinsing uncooked egg from a surface, use cold water. Hot water will cook the egg and make your job harder.
