Clinton Global Initiative University: Project Development

President Bill Clinton’s Global Initiative University (CGI U) is a network aimed at student leaders, and social entrepreneurs who wish to develop projects and engage in community service in areas such as environmental sustainability, education, climate change, global health, human rights, poverty alleviation and other related fields. We are currently seeking University students, who are eager to undertake such activities, and to attend our free annual conference at University of California San Diego this April 1st to 3rd, hosted by President Clinton. In order to apply (Nov. 30th deadline) students submit a ‘Commitment’ proposal which is a general plan in any of areas listed above, or related fields. The top proposals are also given grants usually in the $3,000-$10,000 range in order to help achieve their goals. The *final decision deadline is February 7, 2011.
