WTS-Boston 2012 Student Scholarships

“Seven scholarships worth $3,000 to $6,000 offered”

Once again, it’s time to honor several local undergraduate or graduate students pursuing a career in transportation. Since 1994, WTS Foundation and local chapters have awarded over $200,000 in scholarships to over 140 of the best and brightest women seeking careers in transportation. Who from the Boston area will be next?

  • Scholarships are competitive and based on the applicant’s specific transportation involvement and goals, job skills and academic record.
  • Scholarships are open to all women with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Applicants do not need to be WTS members or U.S. citizens.
  • Scholarship winners selected by WTS-Boston will be nominated by the Chapter for the WTS International scholarships.

WTS International awards will be presented on May 10, 2012 and attendance at awards dinner is strongly recommended. WTS-Boston awards will be presented in June 2012 at the WTS-Boston Awards and Scholarship Dinner.
