is seeking an Energy Policy Expert and Administrator.  Under Governor
Markell’s leadership, Delaware has passed several innovative and
aggressive bipartisan energy policies over the past two years, such as
Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Standards.  We also are
beginning a statewide climate impacts, vulnerability, and adaptation
assessment and planning process.  We currently manage over $70 Million
for energy efficiency and renewable energy investments.  Our Division
provides you with the opportunity to design and implement cutting-edge
energy policies and gain extensive senior experience at the forefront

Job Description:
The Energy Policy Expert and Administrator will be the chief energy
policy expert for Delaware.  Roles include developing new legislation,
policy frameworks, and regulations, as well as leading strategic
planning on a variety of energy topics, including energy efficiency,
renewable energy, transportation, infrastructure, and generation.  The
position will direct and oversee Delaware’s multiple energy efficiency
and renewable energy programs, as well as manage all energy policy
personnel.  The position will report directly to the Director of
Delaware’s Division Energy & Climate.  Applicants must have: (1)
experience as a subject matter expert in energy policy; and (2) a
Master’s degree or higher in an area that focuses on energy policy.

Compensation:
Salary based on experience ($64,235 – $96,353) with generous state
benefits package, including 5-7 weeks/yr paid vacation/holiday, 3
weeks/yr sick leave, great health insurance, and robust state pension
plan.
