Boston University, August 2012 – Present

Work as a coordinator for conflicts of interest unit in the office of research compliance for the university and for Boston Medical Center. Ensure all research, both proposed and in progress, is in compliance with federal rules and regulations. Work with attorney to manage and coordinate a program of compliance for the entire university including the main and medical campuses. Educate staff and faculty on proper guidelines in disclosing and managing conflicts of interest with regard to significant financial interest disclosures. Maintain the integrity and assurance of research through facilitating compliance. Protect the university and hospital names and the quality of research. Analyze cases in which conflicts arise and brief committee on proper steps in moving forward on or modifying research plan.

American Arbitration Association, September 2009 – August 2012

Work as a case manager in the labor division in the administration of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) matters. Act as the designated neutral liaison between parties and facilitate conformity to neutrality throughout the process. Manage scheduling of hearings, briefing deadlines, and the timeliness of awards. Be the go-to person as to the procedures and policies of the company in regard to the ADR process.
