My name is Derek Michaud and this site hosts some basic information about me and my work as well as links to helpful resources in philosophy, theology, and religious studies. I am a PhD candidate in the Division of Religious and Theological Studies at Boston University. My dissertation research revolves around the intersection of early modern science, philosophy, and theology in the 17th century Cambridge Platonist John Smith’s doctrine of the spiritual senses.
I am also a member of the Fellowship of St. John, a student member of McGill University’s Centre for Research on Religion (CREOR) and an Adjunct Professor in Philosophy at the University of Southern Maine.
