Welcome!

I am currently a 6th year PhD student working with Dr. Mark Friedl, studying the impacts of climate change on seasonal processes of temperate deciduous broadleaf forests. Specifically, I’m interested in how changes in temperature, radiation and precipitation affect the timing of spring onset of leaf development and abscission of leaves in the fall.

I’ve just recently defended my dissertation, titled “Using Eddy Covariance, Remote Sensing and In Situ Observations to Improve Models of Spring Phenology in Temperate Deciduous Forests,” and will be continuing at Boston University as a post-doc.
