| So let’s see how the screen real estate works out with a modest-sized video window (320X240) and a column nearby for a twitter feed…
In this case my content area is just too narrow. I reduced the Twitter column width to 140 pixels, which is really too narrow. Perhaps the feed would be better placed in the sidenav area, or in the empty area to left. I’m streaming a saved file but a live stream would use the same approach. Just discussed with Eric D. –
| CHG013726 |
I had indicated Urgent instead of Emergency b/c I would not be fixing it immediately — waiting for overnight. But Urgent changes are completed only during service windows. So “Urgent” would have been fine had today been Tuesday, since Wed. AM is change window. Corrected to be Emergency, but scheduled (for the larger good — we are not interrupting student playback during business hours even though this is an Emergency change.)
Generally Eric is trying to reduce use of “Urgent” designation. There’s an email that goes out for these etc. that now he will reply to to indicate it’s Emergency.
Bottom line: Emergency does not mean Immediate. Can mean scheduled.
