Hello and greetings from ONS!
ONS will be joining ASCO, the NCI, and the Indian Cooperative Oncology Network (ICON) this September 14-15 in Nashik, India to conduct a Cancer Research Workshop. We are seeking an ONS member who has international teaching experience and is currently actively involved in clinical trials to join other prestigious speakers from India and the U.S. at this two-day workshop.
A complete explanation of the partnership, workshop, objectives, and logistics is included in the attached “faculty applicant questions” document. There will be approximately 80-100 participants in this workshop, including nurses. The primary responsibility of the ONS presenter will be to lead the nursing breakout groups on Day 1, but also, the selected presenter is invited to speak in tandem with another presenter on any of the topics on the agenda with which they have specific experience and would like to address. In particular, agenda topics that would be ideal to potentially include a nursing leader would be “ICF and informed consent process” and “AEs and SAEs- Do’s and Don’t's”.
