Michael Pratt from the Office of Technology Development will be giving a lecture on Inventions and Market Opportunity. Michael is the Director of Translational Research & Corporate Relations. He provides support to faculty that participate in translational research programs through proposal development, implementation of translational research, and facilitating collaboration with industry.

Vinit Nijhawan is currently running the Kindle Mentoring Program and will give an introduction of the opportunities available through the program. Vinit is Managing Director of the Office of Technology Development and the Director of Enterprise Programs at ITEC (Institute of Technology, Entrepreneurship & Commercialization) at Boston University. Vinit also teaches an MBA course on Entrepreneurship at BU.

A good amount of money and a REAL opportunity to develop your product or service can present itself through the program.  Funding is available for prototyping your idea and for other expenses related to your product.
