Read the following essay.
Write a summary to use in an essay that argues (as President Obama did last week) that we should raise the age at which students are allowed to drop out of school. You needn’t write your whole argument. Just the part where you would refer to Sipher.
Choose a section of Sipher’s essay–no more than 2-3 sentences and paraphrase it. Please past the original into the document along with your paraphrase.
