What’s Up with Tickets to the Frozen Four?

Talk about a hot ticket! There are a limited number of student tickets available to the Frozen Four in Washington, D.C. So, to try to be fair about it, we’ll be holding a raffle — “winners” will get a chance to purchase one ticket. (Lots of coin for the tickets — 177 bills — ouch!)  You can pick up a raffle ticket tomorrow, April 1, (no joke) from noon to 5 p.m., at the Agganis Ticket Office. Raffle “winners” will get a call after 5 p.m., tomorrow (April 1).  Get the complete scoop at Go Terriers!

And if you don’t get a ticket, don’t worry.  Mark your calendar — next Thursday night we’ll go big and do a viewing party that no one has ever seen before.

It’s great that there are tickets available but what a horrible idea to have a raffle that is open to all sports pass users. It seems like this is Agganis’ management screwing something up again. I know that there are a lot of fans season tickets holder, and upgraded sports pass holders who are a bit dissappointed at this news.

Hope to hear more about a viewing party though. I know there is one being held in Washington but I hope there is one being set up for students to watch on campus.

GO BU!

My daughter and her friend both won the lottery, and they are thrilled (as a longtime hockey writer and fan, so am I!(. But is BU doing anything to help the students get there and find places to stay? I just got off the phone with my daughter, who is scrambling to get there and find a place to stay.
