Kevin grew up around New England before moving to Northern New Jersey in the third grade. He earned his undergraduate degree in PA and studied abroad in Edinburgh, Scotland. He wrote his honors thesis on how cultural and political developments between the 1960s and early 2000s shaped depictions of the vampire in literature and film. Yes, he had to read Twilight, but he prefers moody Anne Rice vampires to the glittery Stephanie Meyer brand.

Before coming to BU Law, he taught English at independent schools around the Northeast and coached cross country. At BU Kevin plans on studying tax law. After helping teenagers to understand and appreciate Shakespeare for six years, he figures that helping adults to understand the US tax code can’t be that much harder. (We’ll see!)

When he isn’t hitting the books, Kevin enjoys running, baking bread, and writing creative nonfiction. He believes that helping others to better articulate the challenges they face is important and feels that being a good listener is more important than a being a frequent speaker. He collects tea towels.
