2014 Commencement Speaker: Juan Torruella (’57)
Sunday, May 18 | 9:00 a.m.
Judge Torruella, federal judge of the First Circuit Court of Appeals, will be the speaker at this year’s commencement ceremony. A native of Puerto Rico and BU Law grad, he joined the court in 1984 and frequently speaks out on improving the rights of Puerto Rican citizens.
These lectures enrich our students’ education by exposing them to discussions on current legal topics and introducing them to top legal scholars and practitioners from around the world who are working on cutting-edge issues in the law.
