Bone Marrow Drive

Join the Marrow Registry on January 25, 2010!

In December, 2009, Lorraine Witzburg was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia and is in need of a matching marrow donor. A bone marrow transplant requires a compatible match. Her best chance of finding one is through the Be The Match Marrow Registry. That is why we are asking for YOUR help. The Be The Match Marrow Registry is in need of registered donors.

Join the Marrow Registry on the following day:

Monday, January 25, 2010
11:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Boston University School of Medicine
72 Concord Street L-109 A/B (ground level)
Boston, MA 02118

A simple cheek swab is all that is needed to determine if YOU could be the one to save Lorraine or one of the other thousands of patients in need of a bone marrow transplant. You’ll only be contacted if you’re a match for someone in need.

PLEASE HELP LORRAINE AND OTHERS LIKE HER!

Thousands of patients depend on Be the Match Registry to find a donor who can give them a second chance at life. You have the power to heal, the power to save a life. To join, you need only be between the ages of 18 and 60, be willing to donate to any patient in need, and meet the health guidelines.

If you are unable to make it to the drive or would like to share this opportunity with friends and family around the country, please go to: http://join.marrow.org/CM869 to join the registry!
