Those who visit Naples for the first time will never want to vacation anywhere else after that. Located between Miami and Fort Myers, Naples is a beautiful city in Collier County, Florida. Famous for its several major land reserves, exciting wildlife and white sandy beaches, Naples will exceed your highest expectations. Whatever your vacation dreams are, you will find them fulfilled in this Florida’s paradise.

Scenic sugar white sand beaches, spectacular sunsets by the ocean, national parks showcasing unspoiled natural environment and a myriad of accommodation options that include beautiful hotels and affordable vacation homes– all these are unique hallmarks of Naples. At this place it is easy to enjoy outstanding outdoor recreation such as canoeing, kayaking and boating and regardless if you are passionate about fishing, golf, shelling, bird watching or wildlife viewing, you will find plenty of choices in Naples.

If all you are looking is to relax at the beach, you can also take a long leisurely walk down the Naples Municipal Beach or more secluded Clams Pass Beach Park, watch a magical sunset and listen to the soft murmur of the waves.

Another thing, if you are a golf fanatic, you will simply adore Naples. With close to 90 championship golf courses, Naples is the self-titled “Golf capital of the world” having higher number of golf holes per capita than any other community.

Just like a long walk on the beach, shopping in Naples is a must. Stroll 5th Avenue, an official shopping district of Naples and visit numerous antique shops and art galleries. For more fashionable goods and accessories, you can go to Waterside Shops, an upscale open-air shopping center featuring such brands as Gucci or Tiffany.

If you like art, you can explore Naples’ over 100 art galleries, the famous community theatre and Philharmonic center. Naples is considered a fabulous cultural destination, and is called by some “The Top Small Art Town in America”. The magical aura of the place attracts both artists and art enthusiasts. You can visit the outstanding exhibits of Naples Museum of Art and take an art tour along Fifth Avenue’s little charming galleries.

As far as accommodations go, the alternatives are simply unlimited. With a little bit of time and the help of the internet it is easy to find affordable alternatives for all kinds of pockets. If you are under a tight budget a good option is a vacation home. With the right amount of research you might be able to find a Naples beachfront condo at a discounted rate that you can share with all your friends. A good resource for Naples is Lonely Planet.

Naples, FL is a beautiful place to visit and to live. You can find a local’s (non-tourist) website at: http://free.naplesplus.us which can help round out knowledge of Naples, Florida. Tourism from European countries and from the bitter freezing northern states in the USA is up, and proof positive right now of how beautiful Naples, Florida is, it’s December 19th, and I’m sitting on my lanai (screen porch) on my computer wearing t-shirt and shorts. That’s not something you can do in too many places in the USA right now. Travel prices have been dropping (to encourage tourism) and home/land prices have dropped significantly and loan rates are at their LOWEST in decades — so if you want to visit or to move here, now is the ideal time. Economic times will improve, prices will go up, so even though I’m not a real estate agent, I’ve been watching the prices go up and down, and if I were an investor or wanted to retire, I’d do it now.
