I can guarantee you will never regret choosing it as your next vacation destination.
World-class skiing, as well as many other activities, both outdoors and indoors are only part of what makes Breckenridge such a fun destination. This area is so understandably popular that the city is estimated to boast over 20,000 pillows! It is not hard to find your perfect spot to lay your head in one of the many Breckenridge vacation rentals available everywhere. The average winter temperature in Breckenridge is 28 degrees Fahrenheit–cold enough to keep the snow powdery, but mild enough to enjoy any of the 146 ski trails. Because its perfection is well-known, it is a good idea to get your lift tickets and gear rental early.
And if you are like me, a food lover that likes good eating, you will not be disappointed in Breckenridge. The city provides many dinning choices as well. There are 79 different restaurants to choose among! One I recommend is the Blue River Bistro, where you can try one of their 75 different martinis.
And if you don’t like skiing do not worry; there are any number of popular activities beyond it as well. In the summer, with a comfortable average temperature of 75 degrees, you may want to leave your Breckenridge lodging for a day of hiking and climbing to the top of Quandary Peak. Mine tours deep into the Rockies are another popular choice. With the city itself just 7 miles long and 2 miles wide, there is easy access to the quaint downtown, with its 180 shops and boutiques ideal for a shopping adventure. If you’d like you can investigate spiritual kinesiology at Sacred Tree, or you can ride the Breckenridge Trolley to observe the area and plan the sites you’ll want to visit later.
