CASRN101 The Bible

UHCRN101 Moses. A University Honors College Seminar.

Students will study the history of reception and the modus vitae embodied in the great figure of Exodus story and Sinaitic legislation and attempt to construe a Moses for our time. The course draws on a variety of Jewish, Christian, and Muslim traditions and approaches such as biblical Higher Criticism, “mnemohistory” (the history of memory), philosophy, theology, and literary criticism.
