CELOP SNOW POLICY

Please note the following procedures in case of the university closing or a delayed opening due to snow.

1. To find out if Boston University is affected by snow, you can call Boston University’s information line, 617-353-SNOW (7669) or see an announcement at the top of the BU or CELOP website. You can also check news sources such 7 News and wbur.org .
2. If Boston University is closed, CELOP is closed and no classes will be held.
3. If Boston University has a delayed opening, CELOP will send an email message to all faculty, staff, and students to explain to when classes will begin.
4. In case of an announced 3-hour delay, Core classes will be canceled. Elective classes will be held as normal.

 

To summarize: 

If Boston University is closed  >  CELOP is closed, no classes.

If there is a delayed opening >   check email to find out when classes will begin.

If there is a three-hour delayed opening >   core classes are canceled. Elective classes run as normal.
