Listed below are the dates and registration prices of some that might be of interest.  BURC will be at these races running, volunteering, and/or cheering for our fellow running club members so look for us there!  Feel free to talk to the leaders at the daily runs or email running@bu.edu about meeting up on race days if you are participating or volunteering.  

Brian Honan 5K: Sunday, September 12, Noon start.  Registration $20.00; race day registration available.  Close to campus and fun!

Northeastern Big Dog 5K: Saturday, September 18, 11am start.  Registration $10.00 for students!  Beautiful course around the esplanade!

BAA Half Marathon:  Sunday, October 12, 8:30am start.  Registration closed, but you can still sign up to volunteer!  This is a great race to both run and volunteer at.  Many running club members guaranteed to be there!

Tufts 10K for Women: Monday, October 11, Noon start.  Registration around $40.00 with fees, race day registration is $48.00.  A great cause and the best participant shirt in town!  Women and men welcome to participate.

Speedo Run: Opportunity to raise money for charity and run in a speedo, of course.  Registration date TBA, but keep checking the race site throughout September because it will be first come first serve for the 500 registrant spots.  More info on this race to come.

Jolly Jaunt:  Information on this race to come.  It's a great 5K in December and club members will definitely be participating.  Goofy attire encouraged!

POWERRUN 5K
WHEN: 10am-12pm
WHERE: Meet at Esplanade by Marsh Plaza

Saturday April 17

RACE AGAINST EXTINCTION
WHEN: 11am
WHERE: Artesani Park just off the Charles River in the Boston/Brighton/Cambridge area
REGFEE: $25
We are seeking to make the event an annual, Earth Day-inspired April tradition. Everyone is welcome - skilled runners, novice runners, inline skaters, parents with strollers and even runners and walkers with their dogs. We seek to ensure that our events are as green as possible by using recycled Tyvek racing bibs and by stringently limiting our carbon footprint. And this year we will even have a polar bear running the race.

CHASING THE CURE 5K
WHEN: Noon
WHERE: BU Sailing Pavilion (on the Esplanade)
REGFEE: BU Students: $15 online, $20 on race day. NonBU: $20 online, $25 race day.

Chasing The Cure 5k

5k race on Saturday, April 17th @ 11am. Start is at at Artesani Park, 1234 Soldiers Field Road

$25 entree fee. All profits go to the World Wildlife Foundation's Year of the Tiger campaign.
