Welcome! I am a PhD candidate in Health Services and Policy Research at Boston University, with a concentration in health economics. My research goal is to better understand how clinicians respond to payment and delivery reforms, such as selective contracting and telemedicine. My dissertation project focuses on measuring the value of physician practices. I use econometric techniques to analyze large datasets, including claims and administrative data, EHR (labs and vital signs), clinician salary information, and patient experience survey. Prior to my doctoral training, I worked in government management in global health and practiced clinical internal medicine. I received my MPH in health policy and management, BS in nursing, and BA in philosophy in South Korea.
