Welcome

GP butterflyI’m a recent Ph.D. graduate in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Boston University and worked in the Nanomaterials and Nanostructure Optics (NaNO) Laboratory with Prof. Luca Dal Negro. My research focused on scattering from deterministic aperiodic arrays, including structural colors on metal surfaces and optical biochemical sensing in integrated microfluidics .

I have my undergraduate and master’s degrees of Mechanical Engineering from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). My previous research studied fluid flows in microchannels with bends and mixing-layer microdevices.

After that, I worked as a Project Engineer to develop hollow-fiber catheter for slow, continuous, intracorporeal plasmapheresis in Transvivo, Inc. (CA) for 4 years before starting my PhD study in Boston.
