Kate Wilson

Kate Wilson serves as the head coach of the Boston University Synchronized Skating Team. After graduating from Boston University with a major in hospitality (SHA ’12), Kate returned the following year with a coaching position. During her first year as the coach, her team succeeded with an undefeated season, placing first at all competitions, including the 2013 Eastern Synchronized Skating Championships.

Kate has been involved in synchronized skating for many years. Prior to being a student skater for BU’s synchro team, she also skated as a member of the Haydenettes Synchronized Skating Team from 2004-2008. While on Haydenettes, Kate competed as a member of Team USA, where in 2008, she helped the Haydenettes to earn their first medal at the ISU World Championships, placing third in the long program. Kate and the Haydenettes also spent a lot of time traveling and representing the US outside of World Championships in numerous countries including Sweden, Czech Republic, Canada, and Hungary.
