I have lived in the great state of Michigan for twenty-two years. It has so much to offer, culturally, historically, and beauty wise that is impossible to condense the attractions into a single blog post. However, I will try my best.

A great way to travel through Michigan is by driving. So rent a car and travel up the huge mitten-shaped state. One cannot forget Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. The Upper Peninsula is oft forgotten by us Lower Peninsulan’s but its proximity to Canada and unique culture, make it a must see destination if you are traveling to Michigan. Make a stop in historic Mackinac City or Mackinac Island and try some of the fudge, or take a lovely carriage ride.
