About the Transactional LawMeet®

The Transactional Law Program spearheads BU Law’s participation in the national Transactional LawMeet®. The competition allows students to experience live competition while honing and developing transactional law skills.

This is an excellent opportunity for 2Ls and 3Ls who are seriously considering transactional practice as a career to challenge and distinguish themselves and to get a real sense of how transaction practitioners resolve difficult business problems through contract negotiation and drafting.

Detailed information concerning the Transactional LawMeet®, including a tentative schedule of this year’s events, can be found at the competition’s Web site.

An “internal” competition is held at BU Law in the fall to select one team for the New England Regional Meet, at which participants for the National Meet are chosen. These pages are intended to provide updates, events and information about the Program’s participation in this year’s competition.
