Twitter Business Center is expected later this year. It’s anticipated that Twitter will charge brands for this service.
What you get:
- Verified Account (currently reserved for individuals, with the exception of a few brands i.e. Harvard, Google, Microsoft, Starbucks…)
- Direct Messages can be accepted from accounts you don’t follow (currently you have to follow them or interact publically).
- “Contributors” feature allows multiple users to post updates to a main account without the need for sharing that account’s login information, allowing it to become a collaborative, company-wide endeavor without security issues. For example, this will give face to those updating @butoday — so now @lesliefriday can tweet via @butoday, which will be indicated beneath the tweet.
