About

The research work of the Web, Internet and Networking Group (WING) in the Computer Science Department at Boston University is diverse both in its coverage of areas and in the nature of activities undertaken. Research areas range from Internet routing and transport protocols to Web caching and content distribution protocols, from high-performance server architectures to scalable P2P and overlay network designs, and from traditional unicast and multicast IP-based networks to sensor-based and ad-hoc systems. Research activities range from instrumentation and measurement to analysis and characterization, and from resource management and QoS provisioning to system prototyping and deployment.
