My process is to first introduce, by email, the new Finance faculty to the representative of McGraw-Hill so that they are familiar with the faculty\u2019s name when they have to approve desk copy requests. Then I have the new faculty member contact the representative of the publisher to request desk copies.\u00a0 I provide the publisher\u2019s Help Desk telephone number.\u00a0 I also recommend that the desk copy, if in paper form, be sent to the faculty\u2019s home rather than being sent to Boston University \u2013 less \u201clost\u201d desk copies.<\/p>\n
