Alexandra M. Kapadia

Alex Kapadia is a PhD Student and Clinical Fellow in Speech, Language & Hearing Sciences at Boston University. She studies the cognitive and neural mechanisms that support processing variability during speech perception in development, the brain bases of differences in reading ability, and interactions between speech perception, production, and reading. Her primary mentors are Dr. Jennifer Zuk, Dr. Jason Bohland, and Dr. Tyler Perrachione.

Alex earned an MS in Speech-Language Pathology from Boston University in 2019 and received her BA in Linguistics, with a minor in Physics, from the University of Chicago in 2017.
