What an amazing season BU Synchronized Swimming has had!
We were featured in a BU Today article and video, describing synchro as a combination of art and athletics – the ultimate team sport!
Our regular season finished at regionals at the University of Pennsylvania. For the first time in program history, we walked away with the title of second in the East region! We used that momentum to work even harder on our routines for Nationals.
10 days after regionals we were wheels up headed to Arizona for Nationals. We touched down, took a moment to take in the sunshine and warmth, and headed straight to the pool for warm ups.
Thursday was the small routine competition. We had two trios, two duets, and one solo. All routines had their best swims and tango duet qualified for pre-swim and Julia’s solo qualified for finals.
Friday morning all swimmers competed in the figures and elements competition. BU swept D figures, with swimmers in 2nd, 5th, 7th, and 9th.
We quickly transitioned from figures back to routines and started warming up our team routine! Team had an amazing swim Friday afternoon, coming in 14th.
Saturday was finals! Duet swam an amazing and fun pre-swim, and Julia killed the solo, coming in 7th!
We concluded the amazing week proudly as 10th team in the nation!
Thank you for all your love, support, and positive energy that helped us be successful. Time to start planning for next year!

The architectural design of swimming pools is a canvas for creativity, where functionality meets aesthetic beauty. From infinity pools that seamlessly merge with the horizon, creating a mesmerizing visual effect, to geometrically shaped pools that complement modern architectural marvels, each design choice tells a unique story. Surrounding landscapes, be it lush gardens, meticulously designed decks, or picturesque vistas, further elevate the allure of these aquatic havens, transforming them into captivating outdoor sanctuaries.Pool Werx
