Almost <strong>every one<\/strong> eats the same food on every day, the food is \u2013 Saozi Noodle. <strong>Saozi Noodle<\/strong> is a special local food in Shanxi. <strong>Shanxi people<\/strong> love eating noodles, especially Saozi Noodles.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The noodles<\/strong> are relatively thin. Fried eggs, carrots, potatoes and long bean are all cut in fragments and applied on the top of the noodles. <strong>They<\/strong> are all different colors and stands for different blessings.<strong> The noodles<\/strong> are usually cooked with soup and <strong>a special chilli powder<\/strong> would be put in soup. So <strong>Saozi noodle<\/strong> is usually spicy. (medium spicy)<\/p>\n<p>When <strong>I<\/strong> first ate Saozi noodle, <strong>the spicy soup<\/strong> choked me and I was surprised that almost all the people in the village eat Saozi noodle every day. Though <strong>my hometown<\/strong> is Shanxi, <strong>I<\/strong> was born and grow up in Hainan, a very south province which is far away from Shanxi. <strong>People<\/strong> in south China usually eat rice instead of noodles, and <strong>they<\/strong> also do not like eating spicy food. So <strong>I<\/strong> felt I was different from my relatives when I go back to my hometown. <strong>I<\/strong> still like eating rice now but I take Saozi Noodle as a precious culture heritage of my hometown.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>An impressive memory of food of mine happened when I go back to my hometown when I was about 6-year-old.
