It is incredibly easy to become stuck within Terrier Nation.\u00a0 Don\u2019t get me wrong I love showing visitors our fitness center<\/a> and million dollar dining area<\/a> but Boston is nicknamed the walking city for a reason.\u00a0 There\u2019s a wealth to explore. I used my MBTA pass at record amounts during a recent family visit. With Parents Weekend<\/a> occurring in days here are top places I recommend checking out from personal experience:<\/p>\n

1. Experience the open market that occurs Sunday\u2019s in the South End-<\/b> SOWA<\/b><\/a>! More than over a hundred booths and dozens of food trucks are there every weekend. <\/b><\/p>\n

2. Explore the Back Bay. Take a stroll down Newbury Street. Have lunch at <\/b>Trident Book Store<\/b><\/a> or <\/b>Cafeteria<\/b><\/a>. If you have a sweet tooth visit Boston\u2019s ice cream staple- <\/b>J.P. Licks<\/b><\/a>. <\/b><\/p>\n

3. Walk to the North End grab a yummy treat at <\/b>Mike\u2019s Pastry<\/b><\/a> and visit the shops at Faneuil Hall. <\/b><\/p>\n

4. See New England\u2019s foliage at its prime take a visit to the Arnold Arboretum. Also, consider an apple picking adventure. <\/b><\/p>\n

5. Gear up for a QUACK! Take a <\/b>Duck Tour<\/b><\/a>. Order the early bird tickets and save nearly 10 bucks. <\/b><\/p>\n

6. It\u2019s a room with an INCREDIBLE view and it\u2019s not the top floor of STUVI 2. The <\/b>SKYWALK<\/b><\/a> is well worth your time and money! Take the Prudential elevator up 50 floors and get ready for a jaw dropping sight. <\/b><\/p>\n
