We have one more month ’til the end,<\/div>\n
We will say bye to COM, old friend.<\/div>\n
It gave us so much, time went by in a rush,<\/div>\n
But now to adult life, we must tend.<\/div>\n

I’ll never forget all the good times,<\/div>\n
Learning to write well and write rhymes,<\/div>\n
Journalism’s my calling, tho’ grad feels like free-falling,<\/div>\n
I love you, sweet COM, long time.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
COM lounge comfy seats, don’t forget me.<\/div>\n
Daily Free Press, be my legacy.<\/div>\n
Goodbye dining hall, I’ll hardly miss you at all,<\/div>\n
Warren Towers, thanks for all the memories.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
I’ll never forget applying ED,<\/div>\n
I just knew this program was for me.<\/div>\n
I found out in December, and awaited September,<\/div>\n
When my journey through COM came to be.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
I started out wanting to write,<\/div>\n
I know, I know, that sounds trite.<\/div>\n
But COM helped me find my\u00a0voice (was that even a choice?)
\nAnd I’m now sure my future is bright.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Being a CA was the best part,<\/div>\n
I gave it my\u00a0whole, whole sweet COM heart.<\/div>\n
I loved my\u00a0groups and my tours (what’s not to adore?)<\/div>\n
Which makes it that much harder to part.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
This next verse goes out to my COM buds,<\/div>\n
You all are such cuties and cool studs.<\/div>\n
From my freshman year gals to all my new pals,<\/div>\n
You’ve made me happy as pigs in the mud.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
I think this stanza might be my last,<\/div>\n
I feel as though my time’s come to pass.<\/div>\n
I know I’m not dying, but I still feel like crying,<\/div>\n
