Since it\u2019s the start of the academic year, take this season slow and treat yourself to a peaceful start of your journey at Boston University!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Walk along Beacon Hill<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Salem day trip during Halloween time<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Apple picking in North Shore\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Thrift shopping in Cambridge\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Cozy dinner in the North End<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><b>Winter Season: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">As someone from California, I won\u2019t lie\u2026 Boston winters are pretty rough. But just because it\u2019s cold doesn\u2019t mean you should be stuck in your dorm all day. Winter in Boston is all about finding ways to explore the city (preferably indoors), whether that\u2019s festive spots or even embracing the cold at areas like Snowport. After months of cold, the city finally thaws, and suddenly everyone\u2019s outside again. The weather is just right, not too hot and not too cold. With sunshine, longer days, and warmer weather, it\u2019s the perfect time to be outside as much as possible\u2014because we all know what comes next.
