Consequently, a series of picture books based on Dante&#8217;s\u00a0<em>Divine Comedy,<\/em> titled &#8220;Dante for Fun&#8221;,\u00a0was published. Originally in Italian, the books simplify each of the three installments in the epic poem (one per book) for young readers.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/core\/files\/2014\/02\/12608755544_ac2f015114_c.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/core\/files\/2014\/02\/12608755544_ac2f015114_c-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"12608755544_ac2f015114_c\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3849\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.bu.edu\/core\/files\/2014\/02\/12608755544_ac2f015114_c-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.bu.edu\/core\/files\/2014\/02\/12608755544_ac2f015114_c.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>From <a href=\"http:\/\/boingboing.net\/2014\/02\/18\/dante-for-fun-kids-books-that.html\">reading this review<\/a>&#8211;and simply from viewing sample pages of the books&#8211;&#8220;Dante for Fun&#8221; doesn&#8217;t quite seem fitting for a child. Then again, this is exactly the creepy, back-of-the-library kind of book that I remember being secretly captivated by as a kid.<\/p>\n<p>What do you think of these picture books?
