They&#8217;ve both certainly caused a bit of controversy.<\/li>\n<li>The William Blake Gallery in San Francisco, the world&#8217;s largest gallery devoted to Blake, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thesfnews.com\/new-william-blake-gallery\/29110\">opened Friday, October 14<\/a>. It explores the poet&#8217;s distinctive and perhaps unsettling artistic style and includes his<em> Illustrations to Dante&#8217;s Inferno<\/em> and <em>Songs of Innocence: &#8220;Holy Thursday.&#8221;<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div style=\"width: 389px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/upload.wikimedia.org\/wikipedia\/commons\/thumb\/d\/db\/Blake_Dante_Hell_XII.jpg\/1024px-Blake_Dante_Hell_XII.jpg\" alt=\"The Minotaur from Dante's Inferno, Canto XII,1228\" class=\"\" width=\"379\" height=\"268\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Blake&#8217;s depiction of The Minotaur from Dante&#8217;s <em>Inferno<\/em>, Canto XII,1228<\/p><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>The Dante Festival takes place<a href=\"http:\/\/www.gardnermuseum.org\/calendar\/events\/7384\"> this Saturday, October 29<\/a>, at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. The program will feature crafts, music and dancing, readings, talks, and more.
