Credit: Observatorio de Restauacion via Flickr (CC BY NC ND 2.0).<\/p><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>A <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ilgiorno.it\/monza-brianza\/cosa%20fare\/in%20citt%C3%A0\/virginia-woolf-festival-1.2674444\">festival dedicated to Virginia Woolf<\/a>, the first of its kind, takes place November 25-27 in Monza, Italy.<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Almost everything we think we know about Jane Austen is wrong,&#8221; according to author Helena Kelly, who aims to set things straight in her novel <em>Jane Austen, The Secret Radical<\/em>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thebookseller.com\/profile\/helena-kelly-what-does-austen-look-if-you-strip-everything-and-just-get-back-texts-426271\">published earlier this month<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Ronald Wimberly&#8217;s <em>Prince of Cats<\/em>, a retelling of Shakespeare&#8217;s<em> Romeo and Juliet<\/em> that explores an early 80s inner city setting through the point of view of Tybalt,<a href=\"http:\/\/www.npr.org\/2016\/11\/13\/500419553\/prince-of-cats-melds-comics-hip-hop-and-shakespeare\"> has been re-released in hardcover<\/a>. It also includes this gem dedicated to an ice cream truck:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote><p>When heat doth bind gelled sandal to sidewalk, listen<br \/>\nFor song that parts summer&#8217;s writhing miasma<br \/>\nAnd calls forth God&#8217;s wandering children<br \/>\nTo the chariot of Mr. Soft-e.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/news.artnet.com\/art-world\/mcdonalds-sues-florence-reject-restaurant-740531\">McDonald&#8217;s is suing the city of Florence for $20 million<\/a> after the city refused the opening of a new location in the Piazza del Duomo.
