And what would it be without an installment of weekly links?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Ashmolean, the University of Oxfords museum of art and archaeology, is currently hosting <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ashmolean.org\/exhibitions\/sensation\/\">Sensation: Rembrandt&#8217;s First Paintings<\/a>, an exhibition featuring early works of Rembrandt on the five senses. An allegory on the sense of sight.<\/p><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Theater\/dance company Lost Dog&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kentnews.co.uk\/entertainment\/a_one_man_staging_of_dance_show_paradise_lost_is_coming_to_canterbury_1_4768608\">one-man performance of Milton&#8217;s Paradise Lost<\/a> is coming to University of Kent on December 1.<\/li>\n<li>The National Changgeuk Company of Korea (NCCK) presented <a href=\"http:\/\/www.koreatimes.co.kr\/www\/news\/culture\/2016\/11\/145_218102.html\">Euripides&#8217; Trojan Women in the form of<\/a> <em>changgeuk<\/em>, or traditional Korean opera. It closed last Sunday, November 20.<\/li>\n<li>Turns out that Karl Marx&#8217;s life is prime drama material. A TV adaptation of Mary Gabriel&#8217;s <em>Love and Capital<\/em>, a book on Marx, Friedrich Engels, and their families, <a href=\"http:\/\/variety.com\/2016\/tv\/global\/karl-marx-drama-series-james-schamus-symbolic-exchange-1201914842\/\">is in the works<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>And in honor of Thanksgiving: Prof. Tobin Miller Shearer of the University of Montana <a href=\"http:\/\/www.usnews.com\/news\/national-news\/articles\/2016-11-21\/what-is-behind-the-turkey-pardoning-ritual\">explores the tradition of the &#8220;Turkey Pardoning Ritual&#8221;<\/a> through the lens of religion and, among others, Emile Durkheim.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div style=\"width: 397px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.usnews.com\/dims4\/USNEWS\/572ba4b\/2147483647\/thumbnail\/970x647\/quality\/85\/?url=%2Fcmsmedia%2F76%2F2f%2F45e80844498da018812b28f96d26%2Fresizes%2F1500%2F161121-turkeypardoning-editorial.jpg\" alt=\"President Obama pardons a bored-looking Abe on November 15, 2015.
