So in case you missed it, here is the extra round-up created especially for the <em>Epic Times<\/em>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Schoolchildren and the elderly of Leeds, UK, come together in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk\/news\/exhibition-inspired-by-wordsworth-1-8319771\">an exhibition of original artwork and photographs inspired by the poetry of William Wordsworth<\/a> in &#8220;Creative Communities: Wordsworth in Leeds.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Jay Martel of the<em> New Yorker<\/em> imagines Donald J. Trump&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.newyorker.com\/humor\/daily-shouts\/trump-tweets-the-classics\">reactions to the classics<\/a>, including <em>Don Quixote<\/em> and <em>Hamlet<\/em>, in the President&#8217;s medium of choice: Twitter. WIN!, Enjoy!, Media is fake!, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Turns out that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sciencecodex.com\/node\/190310\">chickens demonstrate Machiavellian schemes<\/a>, according to a paper by neuroscientist Dr. Lori Marino in <em>Animal Cognition<\/em>. (They are also capable of basic math, if you were wondering.)<\/li>\n<li>In the wake of recent earthquakes in central Italy, some worry about the fate of Michelangelo&#8217;s <em>David<\/em>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cntraveler.com\/story\/italy-proposes-earthquake-proof-museum-to-protect-michelangelos-david\">proposing that the fragile sculpture be moved<\/a> from Florence&#8217;s Galleria dell&#8217;Accademia to an earthquake-proof museum.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div style=\"width: 190px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/upload.wikimedia.org\/wikipedia\/commons\/7\/71\/Michelangelo%27s_David_-_63_grijswaarden.png\" class=\"\" width=\"180\" height=\"215\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">David side-eyes Rome to the south. (Public Domain)<\/p><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>The Polish government <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2016\/12\/29\/arts\/design\/poland-buys-czartoryski-family-art-collection.html\">recently bought the Czartoryski art collection<\/a>, one that is comprised of 250,000 historical manuscripts and documents and 86,000 museum artifacts, including Rembrandt&#8217;s <em>Landscape with the Good Samaritan<\/em> as well as a number of the artist&#8217;s sketches.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There you have it.
