What if we told you we could fill an entire round-up with current Shakespeare-related news and still keep it interesting? Read on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Shakespeare in the Park, a summer festival that presents theater performances for free to the general public,<a href=\"http:\/\/www.amny.com\/entertainment\/shakespeare-in-the-park-to-present-midsummer-night-s-dream-and-julius-caesar-1.13093490\"> is set to stage <em>Julius Caesar<\/em> and <em>Midsummer Night&#8217;s Dream<\/em> this season<\/a>, according to the Public Theater&#8217;s announcement Thursday, February 9. &#8220;In our troubled times, the majesty of <em>Julius Caesar<\/em> and the joy of <em>A Midsummer Night&#8217;s Dream<\/em> are as necessary as beauty,&#8221; says Oskar Eustis, artistic director of the Public Theater.<\/li>\n<li>Ever heard of actor-director Rajat Kapoor&#8217;s adaptations of <em>Macbeth<\/em>, <em>King Lear<\/em>, <em>Hamlet<\/em>, and <em>As You Like It<\/em>? They&#8217;re quite interesting, we&#8217;ve heard&#8211;especially considering the actors are <a href=\"http:\/\/www.livemint.com\/Leisure\/pJnGq0E71Jsqx3EsDxWSdP\/Pick-of-the-Week-The-Shakespeare-Comedy-Theatre-Festival.html\"><em>dressed as clowns<\/em><\/a>. All four adaptations are included in the Shakespeare Comedy Theatre Festival, making stops in Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, and Kolkata before presenting its final performances in Delhi in April.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div style=\"width: 385px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.livemint.com\/rf\/Image-621x414\/LiveMint\/Period2\/2017\/02\/10\/Photos\/Processed\/Clown-kT3B--621x414@LiveMint.jpg\" class=\"\" width=\"375\" height=\"250\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Does Yorick also sport facepaint? The Whirligig Stage of Greenville, NC, presents The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged), Thursdays through Sundays throughout the month of February, beginning this weekend.<\/li>\n<li>Imagine your favorite Shakespearean play where everything is the same <a href=\"http:\/\/bcheights.com\/2017\/02\/09\/in-davis-square-not-another-wasted-evening\/\">except one actor is very, very drunk<\/a>. Coming to the Rockwell in Davis Square in Somerville, British theater company Magnificent Bastard Productions presents: S***-faced Shakespeare! <em>Romeo &amp; Juliet, <\/em>Fridays and Saturdays at 7:00 pm <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eventbrite.com\/e\/sht-faced-shakespeare-romeo-and-juliet-the-rockwell-bos-tickets-26899871239\">throughout 2017<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div style=\"width: 388px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/bcheights.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/shakespeare3online.jpg\" class=\"\" width=\"378\" height=\"252\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Via S***-faced Shakespeare.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>How did we do?
