This week we cover events around BU campus, two plays, and a new museum. Read on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Around Campus:<\/strong> CFA presents<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bostontheatrescene.com\/season\/BUCFA-presents-Much-Ado-About-Nothing\/\"> Shakespeare&#8217;s <em>Much Ado About Nothing<\/em><\/a>, directed by Stephen Pick, next Wednesday (Feb. 22) through Sunday (Feb. 26). General admission in the Lane-Comley Studio 210. (See, there&#8217;s so much Shakespeare in this world that it&#8217;s spilling into a second weekly round-up.)<\/li>\n<li><strong>In case you missed it:<\/strong> Three Questrom students thwarted a would-be thief last Monday, February 6. Five artworks from Galerie d&#8217;Orsay on Newbury Street <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/today\/2017\/bu-students-foil-art-gallery-robbery\/\">were almost stolen<\/a>, including etching by Picasso and Rembrandt and lithographs by Joan Miro and Marc Chagall.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div style=\"width: 531px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/today\/files\/2017\/02\/h_butoday_17-1139-HEROS-002.jpg\" alt=\"Galerie dOrsay owner Sallie Hirshberg (CAS 90) alongside Chris Savino (Questrom17), Mackenzie Thompson (Questrom17), and Jesse Doe (Questrom17).\" class=\"\" width=\"521\" height=\"347\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Galerie dOrsay owner Sallie Hirshberg (CAS 90) alongside Chris Savino (Questrom17), Mackenzie Thompson (Questrom17), and Jesse Doe (Questrom17).<\/p><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><em>An Iliad<\/em>, written by Lisa Peterson and Denis O&#8217;Hare and based on Homer&#8217;s <em>The Iliad<\/em>, reflects on the pain, especially that of women, in the face of war. <a href=\"http:\/\/timesofsandiego.com\/arts\/2017\/02\/11\/war-will-always-be-hell-new-village-arts-presents-an-iliad\/\">A solo performance punctuated by music<\/a>, the play, directed by Jacole Kitchen, will take place Thursday through Saturday at New Village Arts in Carlsbad, CA, beginning February 26.<\/li>\n<li>A museum celebrating the teachings of Confucius, aptly named <a href=\"http:\/\/english.cctv.com\/2017\/02\/10\/ARTInTHsPxBCXbse5rgP4qr1170210.shtml\">the Confucius Museum<\/a>, is set to open later this year in Qufu, Shandong province, China. According to Yang Chaoming, a member of the provincial political advisory body, &#8220;visitors will be able to gain a more in-depth understanding about Confucius and his teachings via images, modern technologies and relics related to the sage.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Hedgerow Theatre Company presents <a href=\"http:\/\/www.philly.com\/philly\/entertainment\/Hedgerow-Theatres-Uncle-Vanya-Fresh-Chekhov-with-sparkling-acting.html\">Anton Chekhov&#8217;s <em>Uncle Vanya<\/em><\/a> with humor and &#8220;crackle.&#8221; Directed by Kittson O&#8217;Neill and adapted by Brian Friel, the performance takes place through March 5 in Rose Valley, Pennsylvania.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div style=\"width: 472px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/media.philly.com\/images\/1200*800\/RS_phillyThumb2_1200x800_20170212_DM1VANYA13z_b.jpg\" alt=\"Vanya (Adam Altman) and Astrov the Physician (Jared Reed), having a good time.
