Also, her story &#8220;Boys with Wings&#8221; has just been published in <a href=\"http:\/\/slicemagazine.org\/subscribe\/issue\/13\">Slice Magazine<\/a>, in an issue <a href=\"http:\/\/slicemagazine.org\/subscribe\/issue\/13\">featuring Rick Moody and Francine Prose<\/a>. Kimberly recently read this story at a Slice event in New York.<\/p>\n<p>Kimberly&#8217;s debut novel, WHAT IS VISIBLE, will be published in June 2014 from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hachettebookgroup.com\/publishers\/grand-central-publishing\/twelve\/\">Grand Central\/Twelve<\/a>. Twelve is a relatively new imprint of Hachette Book Group that releases no more than one &#8220;singular book&#8221; per month. A book trailer for WHAT IS VISIBLE will be featured on Amazon; we will post it here as soon as it&#8217;s available.<\/p>\n<p>Kimberly Elkins&#8217; fiction and nonfiction have appeared in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theatlantic.com\/magazine\/archive\/2003\/03\/what-is-visible\/302682\/\"><em>The Atlantic<\/em><\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/iowareview.uiowa.edu\/?q=issue\/volume_42_number_2_fall_2012\"><em>The Iowa Review<\/em><\/a>, <em>The Chicago Tribune<\/em>, <em>Best New American Voices<\/em>, <em>Glamour<\/em> and <em>Slice<\/em>, among others.\u00a0 She was a finalist for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.magazine.org\/asme\/national-magazine-awards\">National Magazine Award<\/a> in fiction, and fellowships include Harvard, Radcliffe and the Kerouac Project for WHAT IS VISIBLE.
